static stills and frames making up part of the storyboard for this Dads themed collage animation film. Each artwork is fun of cutout images, illustration marks, paint, lettering, shapes and textures. All focussed on life as a Dad and parenting

I was asked to contribute static collage artworks and 2D stop-motion style animation to an important government funded campaign encouraging Dad's to seek help and support during early parenthood.

The collaboration was with director and filmmaker Reuben Armstrong of Reuben & Co and for North Northamptonshire County Council's Family Hubs. I created an extensive series of scrapbook style collage frames, full of colourful papers and print textures, child-like illustrative marks and an array of heart-warming images showing "life as a Dad". Then together with Reuben, we pieced together every frame and animated in After Effects to create this 2.5 minute informative video. The result is a tender and relatable collage animation with a very tactile, human feel.

Thanks to Reuben for asking me to join forces on this one!
