A mixed-media collage animation made just for fun, by turning a video into a printed png frame sequence. Next: cutting, tearing, sticking, painting and drawing with real paper and pens on every single frame. Finally: scanning everything back in and piecing it back together digitally.
The result is this chaotic colourful burst of patterns and analogue collage as the silhouettes jump up and down.
Whilst most of my work is digital, working like this with physical paper assets will always be the most joyful way of making art. There's something so free and childlike about this process!
I've also included static thumbnails of my favourite frames so you can see the cuttings, tape and scribbles galore
