The perfect time to complete the enquiry form is when you have your date and venue secured, and have made decisions on colours, themes and the event details.
For weddings, typically guests expect to receive Save The Dates 6 to 9 months prior to the event (perhaps 12 months for destination weddings). The Main Invitation should be sent to guests at least 3 months ahead of the event date.
Based on the above, wedding stationery enquires should be made 9 to 12 months in advance of your event, allowing for the design process, printing and timely mail-out. If you require a fast turnaround of your stationery, we can work together in selecting the right design suite and additions that will allow for this, without compromising quality.
-
From the point of enquiry to final mail-out, the most comfortable timeframe for stationery creation is 6 months, allowing ample time for ideas, feedback, designing, proofing, final printing and any remaining services. Of course, this timeframe can be flexible where necessary. The key is making sure the agreed scope of work outlined at the beginning is a true and fair representation of what can be achieved in the time that’s available.
Bear in mind that guests need to receive their invitations well in advance of the event. For Save The Dates it’s ideally 6 to 9 months prior to the event (perhaps 12 months for destination weddings). The Main Invitation should be sent to guests at least 3 months ahead of the event date.
Therefore, a typical customer might reach out 9 to 12 months ahead of their wedding date. Save The Dates could be designed, printed and mailed out in the first 3 months. The Main Invites could then be designed, printed and mailed out in the 3 to 6 months that follow.

It’s completely understandable that you may not know which design suite is right for you at the point of enquiry. Take a look at this visual overview to help you decide what’s best.
Your perfect design suite is based on the scale and duration of your event. For instance; a smaller, shorter event requires one of the smaller design suites with fewer cards; whereas a larger scale, longer event will require a design suite with 3 to 4 cards that get across all the necessary details like maps, accommodation and travel arrangements.
Here’s a breakdown of what’s included in each:
‘The Essential Edit’ - 1 x A5 Envelope | 1 x A5 Double-sided Card (can be A6 if details are very minimal eg. for a Save The Date)
‘The Signature Set’ - 1 x A5 Envelope | 1 x A5 Double-sided Card | 1 x A6 Double-sided Card
‘The Luxe Collection’ - 1 x A5 Envelope | 2 x A5 Double-sided Cards | 1 x A6 Double-sided Card
‘The Grand Suite’ - 1 x A5 Envelope | 3 x A5 Double-sided Cards | 1 x A6 Double-sided Card
Note: Card sizes can be flexible in their sizes to accommodate the customer’s individual needs.

Die-cutting is a printing technique that allows your stationery to be cut into custom shapes, rather than the standard rectangle or square. So instead of trimming your invitations in straight lines, a special cutting tool (called a die) is made to match a specific shape. This tool is then pressed onto the printed paper, like a cookie cutter, to cut it precisely and cleanly.
Die-cutting can be applied to the edges of your cards to give rounded corners or an arched top or a scalloped curvy edge. A custom die is often created for RSVP coaster inserts in order to make a fun shape that links back to your overall stationery theme.
Die-cutting adds playful variety throughout your stationery and makes a memorable experience when guests open and explore your invitation.
-
Embossing is a printing technique that raises part of your design off the paper, creating a subtle, three-dimensional effect you can both see and feel. A metal mould is made from your design and pressed into the paper, pushing it upwards from underneath. The result is an elegant, tactile detail that catches the light beautifully.
Embossing is often applied to initials, motifs, smaller illustrations and borders for a touch of understated elegance.
-
Letterpress is a traditional printing method where your design is pressed into the paper, creating a deep, tactile impression. Ink is applied to raised plates, which are then pressed firmly into thick, soft paper. This leaves both the printed ink and a noticeable indentation behind; a signature look adding texture and depth to stationery.
Typically used to highlight names or headings and works beautifully with minimal colour palettes.
